Ten community education and fundraising events were completed in 2021-2023 with a total of 521 attendees. The MHF also participated in two separate community events at larger offsite venues and provided education and invitations to tour the JPH. These were attended by 5,000 people.

Book Signing and Presentation - February 28th, 2024
Join us February 28th for an evening with author Gene Pisasale, who will discuss his book "Heritage of the Brandywine Valley". A book signing and lite buffet will be included in the event.

Annual Wine Dinner- November 4, 2023
The Mansion House Foundation at Radley Run will host its Annual Wine Dinner and Fund Raiser at the James Painter House. Proceeds will support restoration of the James Painter House. (Open to the public, registration details to follow)
Road to Freedom Bus Tour (Repeat)- October 13, 2023
The Hershey’s Mill Discoverers will repeat its September 14,2023 Road to Freedom bus tour. (Closed to the public)
Road to Freedom Bus Tour- September 14, 2023
The Hershey’s Mill Discoverers will host its first of four Road to Freedom narrated bus tours. Author, historian, and Hershey’s Mill resident Bruce E. Mowday will speak on the events leading up to the American Revolution in Chester County. The bus will travel the path of the British soldiers on the Landmark Brandywine battlefield to the historic James Painter House. A luncheon at the James Painter House will be followed by a tour of the Radley Run historic district. (Closed to the public)
Lafayette Day at Thornbury Farm- July 29, 2023
Members of the Mansion House Foundation at Radley Run participated with Battlefield partners for Lafayette Day at Thornbury Farm to kick-off the bicentennial recognition of Lafayette and his role in American history and the Battle of Brandywine. Attendees learned about Lafayette, heard from historical interpreters, and partook in food, music, a Heritage Walk, and activities for children. "Hello April" Garden Event- April 23, 2023
The “Hello April” garden event was led by Susan Walter. Participants were led in a fun and instructional floral design workshop.
Author Event Bruce Mowday Discussion and Book Signing- Feb. 2023
Author Bruce Mowday presented his book "Lafayette at Brandywine: The Making of an American Hero" and held a book signing at the Mansion House. Attendees enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner prior to his presentation.
Holiday Open House- Dec. 2022
The Mansion House was open for tours and educational opportunities, visitors enjoyed the historic building and festive decorations and refreshments.
Summer Open House- July 10, 2022
Members of the community were invited to tour the Mansion House and learn more about the historic building.
The Mansion House Foundation participated in this two-day event along with Birmingham and Thornbury Townships. This event drew a large crowd.
Wine Dinner- October 14, 2022
The Mansion House Foundation hosted an evening to remember on the Mansion Grounds, complete with a gourmet dinner with wine pairings, a silent auction and the beautiful grounds in the fall air.

Mansion House Reopening- October 31, 2021
The Mansion House Foundation sponsored the reopening celebration of the Mansion House after nine months of restoration and repair of extensive damage resulting from a fallen tree. Over 100 regional residents learned about the history of the site while enjoying wine and light bites in the beautifully restored Mansion House gardens and first floor.
