About the event
The MHF’s application was among thirteen accepted by the Chester County Planning Commission for RRCC to serve as a host sponsor for the 32nd Chester County Town Tours & Village Walks. This marks the third Walking Tour hosted by RRCC, with the inaugural event in 2010 attracting over 500 tourists. This year, the county’s overarching theme is “13 Tours for 13 Colonies,” celebrating Chester County’s rich and diverse history by highlighting prominent heritage areas. RRCC’s theme is “250 Years of Evolving Values and Paths to Freedom As Witnessed By The People, Structures, and Landscape Of Radley Run Country Club.”
On July 16, tourists will explore the historic landscapes and structures of the Painter and Mather families at RRCC. As you may know, this history dates back to 1749 and encompasses the Battle of the Brandywine, the Underground Railroad, the fox hunting era, and the development of our historic golf course…
